Compilation of the stuff recorded by this drummer between 1953 and 1956. He usually worked with guitarist Porkey Harris, both of them being white but recording with the cream of the wildest R&B saxophonists (Chuck Higgins, Art Reed, Johnny Taylor...). R&B, Boogie, Jazz, etc... Fifteen tracks, gatefold sleeve and extensive liner notes with lots of photos.
