Mindblowing TV show broadcasted by a local Texas TV station in 1966. It was devoted to Soul music and R&B, and many famous artists as well as some obscure ones performed with the show band, under the direction of Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, with go-go dancers and stuff like that. Each volume contains four or five complete shows, with an approximate ratio of ten or eleven songs per show. Excellent sound and image quality from the original source. On this first DVD there are the five first shows, where we find Little Milton, Esther Phillips, Joe Tex, Etta James, Latimore Brown, Roscoe Shelton, Carla Thomas, Mighty Joe Young, etc... Absolutely exciting.
Despatarrante programa de televisión que emitía una emisora local de Texas en 1966. Estaba dedicado al Soul y el R&B, y en su estudio actuaban en exclusiva artistas de renombre y otros más desconocidos acompañados por el grupo del programa, liderado por Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, con gogós y todo. Cada volumen incluye cuatro o cinco programas enteros, y en cada programa hay una media de diez-once temas. Excelente calidad de imagen y sonido, sacado de las cintas originales. En este primer DVD están los cinco primeros shows, en los que encontramos a Little Milton, Esther Phillips, Joe Tex, Etta James, Latimore Brown, Roscoe Shelton, Carla Thomas, Mighty Joe Young, etc... Altamente recomendado.
