The debut album of this band, released in 1968, has nothing to do with the formula boogie that made them famous some years later. This record is a Psychedelic Pop gem, with very original melodies and arrangements even by that time's standards. With "Black Veils of Melancholy", "Pictures of Matchstick Men", their versión of "Spicks and Specks", "Ice in the Sun", etc.
El primer LP de este grupo, publicado en 1968, no tiene nada que ver con el sonido de boogie macarrilla y cervecero con el que se hicieron famosos unos años más tarde. Este disco es una joya del Pop psicodélico, con melodías e instrumentación bastante originales incluso en su momento.
