Psych Out + The Trip

Two classic cult flicks from the 60's, legendary among Garage and Psych heads. "Psych Out" has a crazy book where Jack Nicholson, Susan Strasberg and Bruce Dern play the main roles. The Seeds and the Strawberry Alarm Clock are the providers of part of the soundtrack and also appear in person. "The Trip" is starred by Peter fonda with Dennis Hopper (and, again, Susan Strasberg and Bruce Dern). A businessman in search of the inner knowledge experiments with LSD with hilarious (for us) results. Music by the Electric Flag (advertised as "American Music Band"), who aren't the band you can see in the film (who are Gram Parsons' International Submarine Band, selected for the soundtrack but replaced at the last minute). Good clean fun for the whole family.
