Meek was the most visionary and innovative producer of his time, and also arrangist, musician, songwriter, sound engineer an much more. With his tragic death in 1967 a lot of his work secrets disappeared. Sometimes he is compared to a low budget Phil Spector. This four CD box has no less than one hundred and seventeen tracks (some of the interview fragments and things like that) classified by periods. The first CD has the best of his work as sound engineer for some hits issued on UK major labels in the late 50's. The second CD has his independent production from his RGM studios, where he created the distinctive "RGM sound" between 1960 and 1962. The third one follows with the same kind of stuff until 1963 and features some of his biggest hits. The fourth disc shows his work as important producer for other labels, well into the Beat-Mod era. With artists as Big Bill Broonzy, Chris Barber, Anne Shelton, Lonnie Donegan, Acker Bilk, Marty Wilde, Blue Men, George Chakiris, Mike Berry & The Outlaws, John Leyton, Moontrekkers, Tornados, Screaming Lord Sutch, Thunderbolts, Heinz, Geoff Goddard, Gene Vincent, Honeycombs, Cliff Bennett & The Rebel Rousers, Blue Rondos, David John & The Mood, Cryin' Shames, Bystanders, Riot Squad, etc. Great and detailed book with in depth information also included. And some of the weirdest and never equaled sounds you'll hear.

Con artistas como Big Bill Broonzy, Chris Barber, Anne Shelton, Lonnie Donegan, Acker Bilk, Marty Wilde, Blue Men, George Chakiris, Mike Berry & The Outlaws, John Leyton, Moontrekkers, Tornados, Screaming Lord Sutch, Thunderbolts, Heinz, Geoff Goddard, Gene Vincent, Honeycombs, Cliff Bennett & The Rebel Rousers, Blue Rondos, David John & The Mood, Cryin' Shames, Bystanders, Riot Squad, etc. Libro completísimo a juego y en definitiva, sonidos nunca igualados.
