Fairies

A classic attack of raucous british R&B by this band that released just a bunch of 7"s. The drummer was no other than Jon "Twink" Alder" (later in the In-Crowd, Tomorrow, Pretty Things and Pink Fairies), with people who ended up in Cops'n'Robbers, Wynder K. Frog and other bands. The A-side is their best known track, very similar to the Pretty Things' "Rosalyn" (the Pretties themselves recorded it and it remained unissued for nearly three decades). The B- side, "I'll Dance" is another frantic sample of mid-60's brit-Punk-R&B, featured on the british volume of Pebbles.

Un clásico pelotazo de furioso R&B británico por este grupo que sacó unos pocos singles y en el que tocaba la batería Twink (más tarde en The In-Crowd, Tomorrow, Pretty Things y Pink Fairies) acompañado por gente que acabó en Cops'n'Robbers y Wynder K. Frog. La cara A es el tema por el que más se les conoce, muy similar al "Rosalyn" de los Pretty Things (ellos mismos la grabaron en su momento y permaneció inédita hasta casi tres décadas después), y la cara B, "I'll Dance" es otra furibunda muestra de brit-R&B-Punk de mediados de los 60, recopilada en el volumen británico de Pebbles.
