If you love instrumental Surf music, you simply need this CD. This band was formed by ex members of the Bel-Aires, one of the pioneer bands of this style in Los Angeles, where they became local legends. Bands like the Challengers and P. J. & the Galaxies also came out from them. Drummer Dick Dodd would later become a member of the Standells. Eddie Bertrand was one of the most gifted guitarists of that time, helped by Leo Fender, who used to build custom amplifiers for him. They never got to release any LP, so this is the best way to get their recordings, made between 1963 and 1964. Seventeen tracks featuring all their singles and some unissued stuff.
