Comprehensive and highly recommended biography of one of the most innovative bands of their time. In their scarce two years career (1966-1968), they developed a very personal sound, leaving a track followed by many, from Led Zeppelin to the '77 punks. An exceptionally well researched work, made with the input of all parts involved (but Ron Wood), and hearing all sides of the story, from their members to producer Shel Talmy and other people who were near them. Exciting reading, if we don't pay too much attention to the recording details explained (except if you're a studio freak; then you'll be happy). Completísima y recomendable biografía de uno de los grupos más innovadores de su momento. En los dos años escasos de su carrera (1966-68) desarrollaron un sonido muy personal y dejaron una huella que fue seguida por muchos, desde Led Zeppelin a los punks de 1977. Un trabajo hecho a conciencia, contando con la aportación de todos sus protagonistas (menos Ron Wood) y teniendo en cuenta todas las partes de la historia, desde sus miembros hasta su productor Shel Talmy, gente de su entorno, etc. Lectura excitante, si prescindimos de los pormenores técnicos de las grabaciones (aunque si eres un ratón de estudio serás feliz). Fotos, completísima discografía, etc. Trescientas setenta y ocho páginas.
