Carter, Dean

Best known by his ripping cover of "Jailhouse Rock" taht appeared on one of the "Born Bad" compilations. This eccentric and explosive rocker was around in the late 50's, although most of his recording career took place during the 60's. This compilation has twenty eight tracks recorded between 1959 and 1969. His sound was based on the most demented Rockabilly with Garage and even some Soul elements. He even uses some unusual instruments occasionally. "Call Of The Wild" does finally justice to this living anomally who sported the wildest Rock And Roll spirit when it wasn't "fashionable".
