One of the most important duos of the 1960's California scene, formed by Bruce Johston and Terry Melcher. The first one had an impressive career as a solo artist as well as a member of the Beach Boys. The second was later a famed producer (the Byrds, among others). This compilation covers the whole spectre of their sound, from the Surf and Hot Rod music to Folk Rock and their contribution to the origins of Sunshine Pop. Twenty tracks, including their hits and other Columbia singles, four songs by The Rogues and five unreleased tunes. Booklet with unissued pictures and interviews with both Bruce & Terry.
