Berry, Chuck

Recorded in 1966 and released the following year. By this time, Chuck Berry was already using local bands in each town where he played instead of travelling with his own band. This time he is backed by the Miller Blues Band, soon to become the Steve Miller Band. The sound in this album is near to the Blues, but the final cuts are some of his classic Rock And Roll numbers.

Disco en directo grabado en 1966 y publicado al año siguiente. En esa época, Chuck Berry ya usaba grupos locales en cada una de las ciudades donde tocaba en vez de viajar con uno propio. En esta ocasión le acompaña la Miller Blues Band, más tarde convertida en Steve Miller Band. El sonido en este disco es más cercano al Blues, aunque acaba haciendo algunos de sus clásicos temas de Rock And Roll al final.
