Besides his first recording ("Rocket 88", issued under Jackie Brenston's name in 1951), the rest of the tracks cover Ike's period in Modern records between 1954 and 1956. In all the tracks Ike's Kings Of Rhythm is the backing band for some singers (Dennis Binder, J. W. Walker, Johnny Wright, Billy Gale, etc...) As usual in Ace, the inner booklet is full of information and photos, thanks to Ray Topping's work.
Además de su primera grabación ("Rocket 88", de 1951, publicado a nombre de Jackie Brenston), el resto de temas (veintiuno en total) documenta su época en el sello Modern entre 1954 y 1956. En todos ellos los Kings of Rhythm de Ike Turner son el grupo que acompaña a varios cantantes (Dennis Binder, J. W. Walker, Johnny Wright, Billy Gale, etc...) Como es habitual en Ace, el libreto interior está lleno de información y fotos, gracias al trabajo de Ray Topping.
